- The Gorin Desktop - Vendor Distribution Notice
- ==============================================
-
- Please read this before distributing this program:
-
- 1: This software may be distributed by any disk vendor or BBS, provided that
- it is made clear to customers that Shareware is not free software. My
- permission is not required in most cases, for exceptions see later.
-
- 2: You may not modify any of the files, or remove my name or copyright notice
- from any files or documentation. None of the supplied files may be removed.
- You may add to the disk any library information or relevant files as you see
- fit.
-
- 3: If you forward a copy of your latest catalogue to me, you will then be
- placed on the mailing list to receive the latest versions of our software
- range when they become available. Please include a note indicating that you
- have added The Gorin Desktop to your library.
-
- 4: For BBS distribution, please ZIP, LZH or ARJ this ENTIRE disk, including
- LHA.EXE within the archive. The SETUP program will automatically sense where
- the archive has been decompressed, and install correctly. Suggested name
- is GDESK214.ZIP.
-
- 5: This program must be distributed on one 720k or higher capacity disk.
- It is not possible to distribute on 360k disks, although if there is
- sufficient demand this situation may change.
-
- 6: CD ROM collections: Permission is granted provided that the disk provides a
- clear indication of what shareware is, and the entire Desktop setup disk is
- stored in ONE archive. Please contact me for the absolute latest version,
- which will be dispatched without delay.
-
- 7: Rack Vending: WRITTEN PERMISSION MUST BE GAINED. Provided your packaging is
- suitable, permission will be granted. Please therefore send a sample package,
- as would be made available to the public. You do not need permission if
- you are a member of the ASP.
-
- 8: For the latest Shareware release, contact me directly, or download a copy
- from the Shareware Support BBS on (01442) 891109 or (01442) 890807 (Vfc)

- Gorin Desktop provides all the features you would expect in a top
- notch GUI system and many more to astound you - it really is
- unbelieveable that all this power only needs a XT machine, and
- positively flies along on 286 and faster processors. Nothing comes
- near it on price, performance or features - order this disk today and
- you'll be amazed that all this is available from a UK author at a
- mere £24.95, considering inferior products can cost twice as much!
- Some of the highlights include over 240 icons with the ability to
- import Windows icons, wallpaper files with paint and import modules,
- multiple program groups, file manager, file viewer, icon editor,
- context sensitive help, terminal program, disk formatting utility,
- GMOD music program for playing Amiga-style MOD files, screen savers,
- automatic iconization of many popular programs and much, much more!
- Ideal for PC's which are used by computer novices or young children -
- as long as you can operate a mouse, you'll be up and running in no
- time at all. Requires a hard disk with minimum 1Mb free, VGA Mono,
- LCD or Colour display, and a mouse is recommended although not
- essential - so it's ideal for laptop systems. Now includes
